Christmas Wish

The Goddess sits on Santa's lap and confides her Christmas wish to him. It's a short one. She doesn't crave jewelry, a BMW, fancy clothes, or even a cruise to Tahiti. Not this time, anyway. All she wants is to be loved and to lavish her love in return on her chosen one. A little bread and wine and a secret place would be nice too. Omar Khayyam, the great Persian poet, had this beautiful thought first. ("A loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and thou beside me, singing in the wilderness...") She has it now. What a gift the Goddess is to loved ones! At Christmas, and all through the year.
